Dr. Syed A. Abrar, MD Board Certified Internal Medicine
Dr. Syed Ali Abrar, MD, is a board-certified General Practitioner with over two decades of experience delivering high-quality, compassionate healthcare. Known for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Abrar focuses on building long-term relationships with individuals and families while addressing both immediate health concerns and long-term wellness goals.
Dr. Abrar earned his medical degree from the Dow Medical College in Pakistan. He then completed his residency training at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York City, where he gained extensive experience in a fast-paced, diverse clinical environment. Following his training, Dr. Abrar relocated to Texas with his family, where he has continued to serve his community with dedication and excellence.
With a special interest in preventive medicine and chronic disease management, Dr. Abrar is committed to helping patients achieve better health outcomes through proactive care, education, and lifestyle guidance. He treats a wide range of conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, and other long-term health concerns.
Dr. Abrar is affiliated with Methodist West and Memorial Hermann hospitals, allowing his patients access to seamless care and a trusted network of specialists when needed.
In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Abrar enjoys spending time in his garden, traveling with his family, and staying engaged in continuous learning to stay current with the latest medical advancements.

Dr. Madiha Ghayas, MD Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry
Dr. Madiha Ghayas is a compassionate and experienced psychiatrist with over 20 years of providing comprehensive mental health care to adults and older adults. She offers both psychotherapy and medication management, treating a wide range of conditions including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and age-related concerns such as dementia.
Dr. Ghayas completed her residency training at Harlem Hospital in New York and went on to pursue a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital. After completing her training, she moved to Texas, where she now provides personalized care through her private practice.
With a thoughtful and patient-centered approach, Dr. Ghayas takes the time to understand each individual’s unique needs, values, and goals. She believes in creating tailored treatment plans that support both emotional wellness and long-term mental health.
Outside of her work, Dr. Ghayas enjoys spending time with her children, listening to music, and traveling.
Yassmin Soudjani, PA-C
I am originally from Houston, Texas, I earned my Bachelor’s in Nutritional Sciences at University of Houston before pursuing my Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Touro University Nevada. With a deep passion for healthcare, I am committed to delivering compassionate, personalized care to my patients. When I'm not working, I love practicing yoga, exploring new cuisines, traveling, and spending time with friends and family!
Nhu Ngugen, PA-C
From an early age, Nhu Nguyen has been passionate about mental health and the power of compassionate care. After earning a degree in psychiatry from the University of Houston, she went on to complete her Physician Assistant studies at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), driven by a deep commitment to helping others navigate their mental health journeys.
As a Psychiatric PA, she strives to create a safe, judgment-free space where patients feel heard, understood, and supported. She believes that mental health is just as important as physical health and is dedicated to breaking down the stigma that often prevents people from seeking care. Through education, advocacy, and patient-centered treatment, she works to increase awareness and promote a more open dialogue around mental well-being. Through working directly with patients, Nhu is committed to making a difference—one conversation at a time.
